Fall 2022

We often swap stories to share our pasts and parts of ourselves with each other. When we share in this way, we reflect, we learn, we grow, we connect.

This project asked us to share one of your stories—a piece of you—in the form of a guidebook.
My guidebook, How to Butter Your Flies, revolved around the anxieties that fly around inside my head, and ways I’ve tried to get rid of them. Spoiler alert: it’s not through extermination, but acceptance.

Thank you to Kelsey Dusenka and Kristin Hughes who taught this studio and provided valuable feedback and support.
